Setting Up a Custom Catalog Source
In order to see your Commerce7 products inside of Klaviyo, you'll need to set up a Custom Catalog Source. This gives Klaviyo a URL on our servers to retrieve your product information.
Klaviyo retrieves product data from Commerce7 every SIX hours. You can force a manual refresh by going into your custom catalog source in Klaviyo and clicking "Refresh sync".
- While logged into Klaviyo, click the "Products" menu item under "Content" in the main menu on the left side.
- Click the "Manage Custom Catalog Sources" button in the top left corner.
- Click the "Add new source" button in the top right corner.
- Enter something meaningful in the Source name field like "Commerce7 Products"
- Copy the url below for the Source url, but change "my-winery" to your Commerce7 tenant ID.
https://api.digimatic.com/commerce7/klaviyo/products?tenant=my-winery
Your tenant ID is the first part of your Commerce7 admin panel URL. For example, if your URL is "my-winery.admin.platform.commerce7.com", then "my-winery" is your tenant ID.
- Leave the username and password fields blank, as the URL is accessing the publicly accessible product feed that's powering your website, so no credentials are necessary.
- Click the "Define source" button.
That's it! After a a few seconds, it should finish the initial sync and you'll see products in the list. You'll be able to drop product blocks into your templates and create product feeds based on that catalog source.
